Republicans aren't turning against Trump.  They agree with every word he said. What they're doing is tempering their message to cover their asses.   They know what he said is despicably and overtly racist but they absolutely agree with him.

I had a frustrating discussion with an old friend last night.  He couldn't be brought around to understand that Trump's argument about this judge is the definition of racism.  He kept reverting to "well, I agree that it's not politically correct, but..."

One of my friends is a die hard Trump supporter and she's a woman.  We've just agreed to not talk politics anymore because it was either that or stop being friends.  Her Facebook page is a cesspool of stupid, though.  I blocked her and not because of her but because of the dumbasses she associates with.  I simply cannot understand why a woman would support that disgusting piece of shtein.
