im not talking about chris matthews or keith olbermann being a democrat and having bias in that direction or joe scarborough tucker carlson favoring the right...im talking about personal destruction hatemongering in the mold of calling obama terrorist or his wife a baby momma or that they are muslim...where are these attacks on mccain from the mainstream media

Bill Press, Stephanie Miller, Ed Shultz to name three like rush. Not on his level as far as popularity, but if you listen to their show, pure hate & making fun of just like rush does on his show.

A few monthss ago I started listening to 820am which is Air america i think. All of them are syndicated national talk hosts. I enjoy their different point of view, and they have some valid points imo. It has been a nice change and alternate view then what I have been use to, but their hate for bush, things conservative, republican or that differs from thier view point gets slammed with as much hate/making fun of as rush, or any other righty talk show guy/gal.

see the major difference btwn the left and right is that for the most part when the left hates they are hating on someone for hating....they will attack abortion clinic bombers or they will attack bush for lying about going to war or rush for being a homophobic women hater or glenn beck for being a racist...in general they are defending someone or some issue

where as the right is a bunch of bullies who fire off unprovoked attacks on people who are less off or lower on the totem pole than they are...minorities....immigrants....women...gays ect....

they do not do those things...never once heard Randi Rhodes Al Franken or any of the other people on Air America come even close to Rush, Malkin, Coulter, Hannity, etc..

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said in a statement Friday that he offered to meet McCain in five joint appearances between now and the Nov. 4 election. But only one of those was a town hall meeting.

McCain wanted them to appear together in 10 town hall meetings that would be unscripted with questions from voters in the audience.
Obama preferred one town hall, plus three traditional debates and an in-depth debate on foreign policy.
