the point is a video of either one coming out with them saying or doing something horrible would be bad but we dont talk about it as if it is coming out do we?

just because rush limbaugh and the pathetic right wing attack machine makes up a story doesnt make it real...im curious as to why you would say "if this comes out"...where is even the smallest bit of evidence that it exists?

basically what youre saying is if a hypothetical video of michelle obama hypothetically saying something bad came out after they hypothetically denied such a video existed it would be worse than if a hypothetical video of john mccain came out that he hypothetically didnt first deny existed?

Yes.  I'm saying that Obama would have been better served to completely ignore this.

john kerry disagrees

It's okay for Fox to call Michelle "Obama's baby mama," but not okay for her to say "whitey?"

I hope she did say it now, just to hope that after fox jumps all over it, Obama would bring up there idiotic slogan for his wife.

God damn America

and yes, I'd so hit it

Neither one bothers me all that much.  Fox News isn't running for president, and frankly gets much more attention than it deserves.  It's the People Magazine of broadcast news.

Here's the best theory on the so-called "Whitey" tape I've seen:

QuoteFrom what I understand, it is a tape of Michelle Obama criticizing the Bush administration.

How you'd write it:

Why did Bush cut folks off medicaid?
Why did Bush let New Orleans drown?
Why did Bush do nothing about Jena?
Why did Bush put us in Iraq for no reason?

How you'd say it:

Why'd he cut folks off medicaid?
Why'd he let New Orleans drown?
Why'd he do nothing about Jena?
Why'd he put us in Iraq for no reason?

How Larry Johnson wants you to hear it:

    Whitie cut folks off medicaid?
    Whitie let New Orleans drown?
    Whitie do nothing about Jena?
Whitie put us in Iraq for no reason?
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

The saved income taxes aren't nearly as big a deal to be as the threat to my wife's livelihood and to the quality of health care my family currently receives.

That's surprising.  I thought every reporter not on FoxNews was actually unbiased.  Weird.

actually the entire thing pretty much quoted mccain

but yes olbermann is biased and doesnt pretend not to be...but hes also part of a network that employs people from both sides of the aisle where as fox news claims to be fair and balanced and is the exact opposite...not to mention fox is hateful and mean where as msnbc may be opininated to one side or the other but they arent hate mongers

that was a great idea to start that site

i dont know if hes doing it or not yet but he needs to incorporate that site into his stump speech in the same way hill did her site...he cant sit back and get eaten up by the right wing attack machine like kerry did...he needs to swing back and swing back hard

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It's odd that you would be cool with reporting from a leftward slant but not cool with the other way around.  I'm completely baffled by this whole situation and need some time to digest all of this.
