she trying to put herself more towards the right in a general election in case she somehow pulls this nomination off

She's doing that just to try and win the remaining states...

worst strategy ever then...dems are overwhelmingly against the iraq invasion much less down with attacking iran
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Her whole point was based on "If Iran attacks Irael" but as you can see everyone missed that point and focused on the attack Iran. She'll win West Virginia with that and there are a few hick states left that might appeal too. In the end your right. She shoots herself in the foot down the road.

Rednecks don't care about Israel. Yuppie scum don't want more war. Pretty sure this isn't about winning votes so much as protecting our little buddy nation in the middle east.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Rome

i'm sure israel is thrilled to hear her blaring the trumpets of war at their expense too.

stupid hateful farghole.

QuoteIf Hillary wins the nomination....

She can't. This thing was over last month. I think she's only pushing this to force Obama into selecting her for VP.....which would be bad.

MDS

final count- hillary wins by 10%, gains 6 delegates

complete wash?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

PoopyfaceMcGee

13 delegates, as of now

Basically, her margin of victory is perfect for one person: John McCain.

She'll hang around and beat the crap out of Obama at LEAST two more weeks.  If she also wins Indiana, even by a small margin.. hoo boy.  Ugly ugly.

Cerevant

I'm disappointed, especially in Bucks and Montgomery counties.  I thought there were more rational people in that region.

Wash?  Obama will at least double that number (if it ends up being 6) in NC, and might still erase this win and a loss in Indiana.  Problem is that the pundits think he needs to find a way to win Indiana to keep his credibility.

I think Obama needs to do two things:

1) He needs to start actively campaigning against McCain.  The DNC has started doing this, but we need to see why Obama is better than McCain.  The vs. McCain polls are slipping for both candidates as this primary drags on.

2) He needs to find a new message, a new battle cry.  This primary season has run on so long that his rhetoric is getting old.

Even the most cynical Democrat has to see that Obama has the money and the momentum...let's hope he can keep it rolling.

An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

stop counting delegates...delegates have been out of the equation for quite a while...its now all about hillary being able to sway the undecided supers into believing she is the better general election candidate for the dems...if she can do that she wins if she cant she loses

The Democrats are losing the election on their own. The GOP is just sitting back and watching them self destruct.

I am enjoying seeing these two go at it, and yes as of now I am voting for McCain over clinton or obama. How is it Obama can't finish her off? isn't he out spending her 2-1, and he has all these thousands of ground soldiers, yet the democratic voters continue to keep her in it, and some say republicans are sheep, geesh.

The Democrats have been destroying themselves for almost 40 years now. The only Democratic presidents in that time were a knee-jerk reaction to Watergate and a super-moderate who was basically a fiscal conservative. The party is on its death bed and Hillary is trying to pull the plug.

Good riddance I say. They get what they deserve.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Uhhhh if anything Democrats not following one candidate would indicate that they're not sheep but whatever.

You were never not voting for McCain. This is what searates the parties right now. Republicans will vote republican no matter who the candidate is. Bush winning twice is proof enough of that.
