As much as I despise Hilldawg, I never understood people who said that.  She's despicable, no doubt, but she didn't build her platform on racism, bigotry, and hatred.

The biggest thing I look at when voting for a candidate is their position on civil rights and equality.  She definitely has some black marks on her record in this department, but by and large, she's been on the right side of history with it.  Infrastructure, environment, access to health care, defense, etc, etc, are important issues, but they all take a very distant back seat to civil rights and liberties.  Everything else is pretty god damn pointless if the law isn't applied equally across the the racial/religious/gender spectrum.

Four things really hurt Hillary more than emails, Benghazi, or super predators. The first is she isn't Trump, and 75% of the people who voted for him would have voted for him even if he farged a toddler to death on stage.

Second is she isn't Obama, and nobody was excited about voting for her. There's only so much you can do about a lack of charisma and poor marketing. Everybody had to have a little logo, and I guess her helipad arrow thing wasn't as appealing as the Trump anal sex dealie.

Third, she isn't Sanders, and too many farging Bernie Bros decided to vote for the guy that's the exact opposite of the guy they wanted just for spite. As if we didn't have enough examples in the last year that an education isn't the same thing as intelligence.

Fourth, she spent the last twenty years expecting the job to be handed to her, and the left doesn't like voting for smug. The right loves that shtein though, they'll vote for it no matter what.

Yeah, I know why she lost.  That wasn't the point of my comment at all, just stating what my own priorities are when deciding who to vote for. 

Although, there's mixed reviews on the millennial's impact on the election.  Some say that Bernie supporters largely turned for Trump, while there's others who say that Bernie supporters didn't vote at all.  The end result is the same, so it really doesn't matter which reason it is, but I tend to believe it was the latter - that Bernie supporters just didn't vote, especially in those rust belt states that Trump dominated.
