deplorables indeed...

These corksuckers are going to approve funding for this stupid farging wall

$15 billion

They scream about executive orders under Obama and Ryan and that turkey necked farg McConnell stand around sniffing The Führer's balls while he signs one after another.

Small government? Party of values? farg off.

What about education? What about veterans? Mental health care?

Nah.

farg!

I made up my mind.  I'm not going anywhere.

great protest in cc today. i met up with the march tonight before stopping at snap kitchen like a farging liberal snowflake to get my gluten free dinner.

anyway i hope you all contribute in anyway you can. money, time, energy, whatever. everytime trump leaves dc we need to be out in full force wherever he goes.

also look into the tax day protests that will be happening across the country. theres probably one near you. #resist http://taxmarch.org/marches/
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

protests are fun and neat and most of all are theraputic but do nothing with this president

a single call to your congress person does much more....every person should have their representatives numbers on their phone and call a lot...if you wanna take the time writing is even better as they know someone who writes a letter definitely 100% votes...i call/write my reps at least a couple times a month to tel them to fillibuster the supreme court nom(s)...everyone should do this

and then of course money...not everyone can afford it obviously but if you can give....in particular the aclu these days...this admin is going to be so shady and attack the constitution from all angles that no one is going to busier than those cats

Yes definitely call, been a few posts out there by former or current staffers saying calls are way more effective than emails.

Haven't tried writing but may do that too.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Along the same lines, the Eric Holder-led effort to undo gerrymandering and re-district congress is about as worthy a political cause as there is.

I also donate to the ACLU but I have for years, so...

I'm not giving a dime to the Democratic Party until I see a drastic change from them.  They should be screaming bloody murder about this jackass, but all we're getting is whining and begging for donations.

I'll give to Booker, Lizzy and Chris Murphy but the party can eat a fat dick.

giving to any candidate is almost always a waste of money....its much better spent giving to reputable organizations/groups/causes

giving money to good orgs like the aclu, splc, pp, etc. are great

but action in the streets cannot be underestimated, especially with this president. he is the twitter president. he is the cable news president. hes lazier and does less work and knows less than any other person who has been in that office. he consumes a ton of tv news and pays attention to social media.

action on there against him is effective. it annoys him. it distracts him. it will slowly but surely sway others and get trump supporters annoyed that hes not focusing on things that are actually important.

he doesnt give a rats ass about people in the street....if anything all it will do is piss him off and he will try even harder to farg those people over

you are crazy if you think trump looks at the womens march and says oh boy i better leave roe v wade alone or its time to pay these women equally

im not saying its a bad thing...but it aint gonna accomplish shtein with this guy....where as if everyone who marched in dc last week bombards congress and gives a few bucks to places like the aclu who can sue the admin over their policies actual stuff can be done
