i dont think there is a number small enough to represent what part of the budget these three things represent...this is the rights continuing attack on inteligence and education....the dumber and less informed the populace the better

This country spends $600 BILLION per year on defense.  You could reduce that by 50% and we'd still spend about the same as the next 2 countries combined (China: $215B, Saudi Arabia: $87B)

Thing is, cutting the defense budget doesn't mean that you have to downsize the military and put even more people in the unemployment line, it just means that you don't spend as much money trying to develop more crazy ass weapons of mass destruction and failed fighter jets.
