I find it amazing that people like Powell and Rice are putting shtein like that in electronic messages.  How naive are these people?

If I were the object of the scrutiny these powerful people are, I'd have my shtein locked down tight.  We'd sit in back at a quiet podunk bar to say this shtein, and never write it down.  Amazing.

I figure everything I do on an internet connected computer is traceable to me.  There is no anonymity and no reasonable expectation of privacy.  If you expect an email you send to be private, that's cute but not reasonable.  Especially if you are someone with power, someone people are watching.

On my work email I rarely say anything controversial or foul. Even the few times I curse I kick myself after hitting send. I tend to send bland ass emails related to work because I'm worried someone will get their hands on them or I'll do the dreaded reply all while ripping someone/thing.
