Barry is striking out. We all know this is where you win the elections. These debates are where the masses 'meet' the candidates again or for the first time.

Barry is not understanding his audience, he looks like jimmy carter versus Reagan.

pretty sure not mentioning the 47% was on purpose...there's really nothing else he could have gained by it. and for how it went tonight, it probably would have somehow worked in romney's favor.

In 1984, Walter Mondale pretty much wiped the floor with President Reagan in their first debate.  Didn't end up helping him much.

if that was a strategy it should have been abandoned 10 minutes in....but even if not it doesnt have to be an attack...a simple reminder would have sufficed...romney is an unsimpathetic millionaire that outsources jobs and doesnt care about the poor/middle class....this has been their ENTIRE strategy for the past six months and has worked amazingly well....in a hour and a half debate nary a mention of any of it...they let romney begin to redefine himself....which is the one thing they couldnt do
