When Munson said Biden is the most honest man in Washington I cracked up. The story posted by Hawk has nothing to do with my opinion of him or any party for that matter. Honesty and politics have no business being in the same sentence with each other...ever.

Decades and decades of mistrust, lies and empty promises from either party...yet people still need to step up on their soapbox and preach and argue the good word of their favorite political party and why they are. It's a farging historical mental and social scam controlled by gov't that has turned society against each other and into the sheep puppets they are today. Politics blow.

I assumed it was understood that being one of the more up front guys in DC was like being the tallest midget. When it comes to politicians, ill take what I can get. Ill take the guy who was regularly the least wealthy man in DC because wasn't taking advantage of his posistion for monetary gain as much as his fellow iceholes in the house and senate were.

As far as Munson goes, outside of politics talk, he's....eh, whatever.  Sometimes he posts funny pics in the Hippo thread.  But I think he's actually pretty informed when it comes to most issues other than his love of Biden.  Shocking, I know but the idiot kid seems to actually have grown up into a half intelligent person. 

If Biden weren't from Delaware, I don't think he'd be jocking him as hard.

I agree with all of this especially the munson part. He knows his politics. Like the rest of us he stays informed and puts his spin on things, I've never seen him flat out copy and paste some opinion piece. And I hung out with him for a bit at the Firefly festival and he's not what you'd expect. If he showed up at an igy tailgate he'd fit right in. [I'll probably be banned from future igy tg's for this post]

every 4 years around this time i swear that i'm going to get involved, follow these guys more and really get into who stands for what and how i feel about it.

The problem, of course, is that it does matter. There just isn't anything that you are I or any of us schlubs can actually do about it. And THAT is what is really infuriating. Informing yourself is enjoyable and liberating at first. Coming slowly to the realization that the world could be a better place but that you can't actually make any difference through the political process is enough to drive you out of your skull.

and he didnt/does copy and paste opinion pieces...or maybe he does...but he definitely copied and pasted other peoples posts....at least im assuming so....they werent from the nyt but they certainly werent from his cranial lump...and it was blatant...you cant post incoherent nonsense one minute then a 12th grade level essay the next and both be your own...like hed not know about something one day then the next was writing three paragrahs on the same exact subject...if he wasnt a cum stain it actually would have been pretty awesome

and i would drop my season tickets before that pocked marked piece of guitar strumming trash even sniffed my tailgate....
