lol yes, why like seeing a movement that's calling out the system for what it is...rigged by those at the top, to benefit those at the top.

It's been happening for years and it's about time a little awareness is being spread on it.

That doesn't mean I'm for everything the movement is doing or think it's doing the best job it can be doing.

Do you not understand that both the Dems and the repus are that "top"? It cracks me up to see the anger and hate towards one side when both are as corrupt as you can get. The Dems don't care about the minority in this country, just look at the urban areas, what advancement has the inner city families made since the 60's? African American unemployment is up big time under this admin. The Right could give a rat's ass about the fat white retired guy who is in the tea party, look at the decline of the middle class over the past 20 years. These elected officials (most of them) are out for themselves and their own interests.

Well said.

Black Republican is one thing and kind of acceptable. Black Tea Party is another and makes no sense. Black Friday is a month away.

Can't wait for it! mad deals dook!

And for one more day IGY holds off that suicide attempt by getting someone to argue with him on the internet.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Munson

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

man if you knew where the word 'schtick' came from you would not be using it.

Quote from: phillymic2000 on October 12, 2011, 06:18:19 PMSame old schtick, "You are a racist, everyone that doesn't agree with me is a dookie, son of a racist, racist, dook, son, i have lots of black friends that drive around with me in my latest coolio ride, I'm rich dook". It makes me laugh every time, you have no original thoughts  :-D

dookie is a nickname, nothing anything derogatory. though the character 'dookie' from the wire was poor, unkempt and in the end, a drug addict, so i suppose it could be used as an insult, though he was ultimately a great kid who fell into the hell that was his surroundings so it's more of a sadness than an insult.

also, coolio was moderately popular roughly 15 years ago for a song called "gangstas paradise," which was featured in the film "dangerous minds." it was mostly a movie about poor blacks aimed at whites and starring a pretty white lady that middle america is secure with. his inclusion in your rant is both extraordinarily outdated and incredibly hilarious.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Munson

So what was the point of your rant? Most of the official statenments coming out of this movement aren't singleing out one party over the other, but rather pointing out that the politicians are being bought off to operate and create policies that benefit the very rich

I'm not trying to defend tubs mcgoo. He is beyond defending and can pick his own battles. He did man up and apologize to me for something...He knows what it is. I'm not bringing it here. But he knows.

Anyway, you are old, white and insanely out of touch. And your attempt to use dookie and your decision to use the term 'Coolio ride' was hysterical. What is that, by the way?

And yes Sarge I'm 38 years old, raised in and around Philly. I a m not a sheeple that follows one line anymore, that ended years ago, I fargin hate most of the elected leaders for the scumbags they are, waiyt, forget it, I'm just a two tooth redneck hick from MA that don't know no better, shucks, last time I was on line I tried to write back in crayon on the screen, uhh huh

actually i have no idea what it is....but why would me apologizing for something have anything to do with picking my own battles or being noteworthy in any way...and even more so why would i care if you brought it here......oooooh an apology....crazy stuff!
