No, I'm saying that once again, we have jumped into a situation without getting all the facts, just trusting somebody's word. Just like we did in Iraq with the WMD's.

lol...maybe the worst analogy ever

plus i dont know how you equate some random rebels looting to nato not knowing the facts...even if nato went in completely cluless what does that have to do with these rebels stealing some shtein

theres a god damn civil war in the country....shteins gonna pop off...regardless if we have minimal involvment in some nato operation over there

I'm not comparing the seriousness of Iraq to Libya. At this point there is no way to compare the lengths of how our country farged up in Iraq, I'm fully aware of that. It just seems that sometimes we jump into situations without getting our facts right, or seeing who the bad guy is. We had/have no clue who these rebels are, their ties or whatthey will do when/if they get power, they may be worse then Momar. Now we just recognized the rebels as the legit government and can fund them.

we have such a miniscule involvement in libya its not even worth talking about

QuoteLiberals always, always slop to the lowest common denominator: in education, in music and the other arts, in political discourse, in health care, in any endeavor they undertake.  Forever leveling down, down, into the gutter, toward swamps from which there is no escape. Liberalism is a drug, enticing at first, a few chuckles from our congenial host as Billy and his buffoonish guests dive into their search for a bottom, insistent that they haven't yet begun to find the depths of their or their fellows' depravity. "Hey, look at me! I can say poo-poo and caa-caa more than you can." And on and on, until they -- and we -- are left with filth and nothing but.  Dead men's bones lying at the feet of cardboard TV characters coming down, down and lower still, from the hollow creed they've made. They mock Christianity, the gentle faith that might save them. But, drugged on their own imagined importance, their great wit, the red light dims on the camera of their dirtiness.
And Bill Maher and his ilk must wake another morning to their empty, their impossibly sad and longing selves. It sucks to be a liberal. It really, really does.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i love how the writer notes that maher makes fun of jesus who is a fake or at the very least a never to have been proven ghost when christians make fun of (not to mention hate on) gays who are actual real people

At least the Arab League asked NATO to intervene.  It was the unilateral invasion of Iraq that was the major fargup.
