Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

And IGY, if this was Bush in office...

A) you'd be bitching that Osama wasn't armed and only one of the five dead were, in fact, armed
b) be bitching that they haven't released the photo.

Stop being a hypocrite.

Wow.  I don't think anyone (of the Bush haters) here would have complained one bit if Dubbya made the call and things went down exactly the same way.  In fact, I'd praise him more than I do Obama.  Because had Bush been able to get Bin Laden, then it would have been the first thing he accomplished in 8 years that the country/world stood to benefit from.

i honestly dont really care that obl even got got...it doesnt effect me in the slightest...and i could care even less who did it bush or barry

what i find most interesting in all this is the rights internal struggle with how to handle a distant detached soft intellectual affirmative action lawyer muslim un american socialist president that they despise pulling off something that makes the country feel as patriotic as anything thats happened in a long time

they are running around like a chickens with no domes and its hilarious to watch

the firehouse and ground zero visits were the cherry on top
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

I agree, Now the UN is asking if this was a legal action. Farg you. The bastich was directly or inderectly responsible in the killing of thousands of americans and others. He got his and Obama was the man that did it. Yes there was years of intel and hunting down, BUT Clinton and Bush apparently both had chances to take this chump out and failed, hell Bush said in 2002, that he wasnt even worried about him. Obama said he would do it and did. If anyone has a chance Stephanie Miller is killing it today on her talk show!!

I'd bet the house, the reason Bush didn't go hard after OBL was because he needed to justify Iraq. It's pretty clear IMO.

I think also a big reason was Bush tried to get him but wasn't able to, so after a while he just said sour grapes, he didn't think it was all that big a deal anyway.

Al Queda will take the US government at their word that Osama is dead, but some people here still aren't satisfied until they see a snuff film.

The man. The myth. The legend.

"Current and former U.S. officials say that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, provided the nom de guerre of one of bin Laden's most trusted aides. The CIA got similar information from Mohammed's successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania."

Bitter sweet for you guys ehhh??

And when did I say I wasn't happy Osama is dead.  I said I'm glad they took him out even if he wasn't armed.

And I don't see many conservatives arguing that he should have been arrested/tried... in fact, the only one I saw was the fat slob Michael Moore.

Shot while resisting capture is fine.  I worry he was executed after he surrendered.  If it could be proven, that would be bad.

Bush on OBL in March '02

QuoteQ: But don't you believe that the threat that bin Laden posed won't truly be eliminated until he is found either dead or alive?

BUSH: Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban.

Just admit it stings a bit...

let's recap...

enhanced interrogation = bad?
potential executing OBL = good?

hypocrisy at it's best

Diomedes

torture is bad
killing OBL is good.

what's the problem here Republican?  Sad days for your klan, lashing out?

Hawk

torture that leads to killing OBL? good?

Confused...

Diomedes

if torture gave us intel that led to killing OBL, then it was accidental

torture gives bad intel
