Tehran is literally tearing itself apart as we speak. Of course, the freedom the protestors are clamoring for is about as free as the sort of religious dictatorship that someone like Pat Buchanan aspires to, but still, it's nice to see a group of people ready to die for their perception of liberty.

Does it really matter that the election was rigged? I guess it does to the people, but their Supreme Ruler is the real guy in charge. Doesn't hardly matter who the prez is.

Obama came down on them pretty hard, saying lawful assembly and freedom of speech must be preserved world wide. But imo, he's just giving them ammo to say the Americans are sticking their noses were they don't belong.

Obama is farged in this situation. He's right to keep a distance and let them handle their own affairs, but he's under a lot of pressure, especially from the right, to stick his nose into Iran's mess.

If the U.S. invades Iran I'll probably get arrested protesting. Enough farging meddling in world affairs for farg sake.
