I picked up DeAngelo Williams just for the simple fact he was going up against the Eagles.

Why is them benching a guy who drew a ton of criticism looked at as them packing it in? Why isn't it looked at as trying to find a spark? Or simply making a change to try anything to make that defense better...

Half of me wants Gaither to suck it up because if he plays well the rest of the season they won't go out and sign a linebacker because starting Gaither will be the cheaper route to say they fixed the linebacker problem.
