if they did it to make a statement about the defense as a whole (and id be all for that) then dont use the third cornerback who has been playing well as an example...shoot the secondary has been the bright spot on the defense

a bigger and more appropriate statement would be benching the golden boy DT who just signed an extension and is getting gashed on the regular

I think they'd all look like studs again if Kearse were healthy.  We underestimate how much he brings to the table.

To deactivate him is garbage. The lame ass excuse that Andy offered up yesterday was even worse. I did not see Reid's PC today but I'm guessing that none of the hard hitting media followed up on this?

Like I said in the other thread - if they wanted to get Will James some playing time, that's fine. But you don't do it at the expense of Hood. You do it at the expense of Joselio Hanson. I'm even fine with James taking over the nickle role for a game to see what he has - but you keep Hood active for special teams and for dime packages.

My first act as head coach is going to be to stab Michael Lewis, that way the rest of the team will know I mean business. Then, 7 years from now when it becomes obvious that none of the players are working hard under me and that I have no idea what I'm doing on the sidelines, at least my defenders will be able to say "What do you mean he's gone soft? Don't you remember when he stabbed that dude?!"
