does anybody know how to change your IP address to make it look like its coming from an international location....or at least something other than philly

If you looked it up, you'd understand. It's a way to hide your browsing activity or spoof your location. It's typically a pretty inexpensive service.

They have different plans, some yearly, some monthly. Doesn't sound awful, but you'd have to check the terms to see how it works on whatever service you picked. If you download torrents, which I think you've alluded to in the past, it's also good from keeping you from getting ID'd based on your IP.

Sounds like you got Private Internet Access, they're good, yearly plan is pretty affordable.  Considering what you're using it for, worth every penny.  If you stop paying, then it'll just shut off the ability to use the vpn.

so the number they gave me to put into the DNS spot or IP spot or whatever it was called is controlled by them? its not something you can share with other people or take off of someone. i figure it cant be that easy.

i dont mind paying...its 5 bucks a month and obviously well worth it....im just wondering if i dont have to
