The Sixers are slipping into Noah's projected range. Ugh, that would be the worst pick ever.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

If anything, it shows that the young guys on the team at least have some pride and want to do well and have the attitude that they can constantly improve. That in and of itself is promising. Hopefully, the guys they pick up in the draft will share in the same attitude.

No, Noah sucks balls.

Awesome college player who won't transition well to the NBA.

See:  Shane Battier, Mateen Cleaves, Kareem Rush, Kahlid El-Amin, etc, etc.

Dillen

Battier is a good NBA player. He's one of the most well-rounded players in the league, it's just how often are you going to go to him with Yao and McGrady, plus for some reason Rafer Alston jacking up 20 shots a game.

He's decent, but no where even close to the level of player that he was in college.  You're right though....not a complete washout like the others I listed.

*edit* But he was taken somewhere around the 5th spot in the draft and you definately expect more out of a pick that high then what he's able to produce.  Same will be said about Noah.

Geowhizzer

I don't mean to defend Noah at all - heck, I don't even follow college basketball.

But, unless he is selected at #2 and then cokes out two days later, saying he'd be the worst draft pick ever is a huge exaggeration.

Sgt PSN

Checked it, he was taken with the 6th pick by the Grizzlies.

I vaguely remember that happening.  Actually, all I really remember about it was one of my dad's buddies was over at our house and asked my dad if had heard about it.  My dad said no and asked what happened and his friend said that dude od'd on coke.  Then I said something stupid like "It's a good thing we drink Pepsi."  Then they laughed at me.  I was 10.

Those 2 guys almost make Brad Dougherty look worthy of the #1 pick.  Almost.

Al Hoford is a realistic get and a better pick, much better, than Noah. But it would be great if they stopped winning and got as many lotto balls as possible. However, simple ideas like tanking for Oden or Durant escape the brilliant mind of William King.

Hmm. Just found the Sixers also have Dallas' first round pick this year, i.e. the last one. I guess that's good.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The BIGSTUD

or maybe the Sixers just get lucky and hit the lottery with less ping pong balls.

Wait, this is Philly... nevermind.

I want Brandan Wright, so I just hope the Sixers can at least get the 3rd pick and get Wright. He has arguably the most potential of the entire draft. He also will transition better to the NBA than Durant as well.

Agreed. I really, really like Wright.

76ers lost tonight.  :yay
