Giving up Korver would be a huge mistake.

There are 27 players in the NBA right now with a 40% or better from the 3 point land.

The BIGSTUD

and how many of them are as good of a shooter as Korver? Run through the list and get back to me.

The BIGSTUD

1.   Jason Kapono (MIA)    29    37    71    .521
2.   Steve Nash (PHO)    26    69    134    .515
3.   Brent Barry (SAS)    28    49    97    .505
4.   Gerald Green (BOS)    27    30    60    .500
5.   Luke Walton (LAL)    30    23    47    .489
6.   Bruce Bowen (SAS)    30    46    95    .484
7.   Luther Head (HOU)    30    71    149    .477
8.   Al Harrington (IND)    30    44    96    .458
9.   Matt Barnes (GSW)    30    48    106    .453
10.   Cuttino Mobley (LAC)    29    28    63    .444
11.   Kyle Korver (PHI)    27    43    97    .443
12.   Kevin Martin (SAC)    27    49    111    .441
13.   Devean George (DAL)    22    25    57    .439
14.   Jason Terry (DAL)    30    63    144    .438
15.   Josh Howard (DAL)    22    36    83    .434

Top 15. Looking at that list the only one besides Korver I'd consider a sharp shooter is Nash, but he is looking to pass first as a PG. Kapono is a nice shooter, but not near the level of Korver. Everyone else on there are decent shooters, but not at the sharp shooter level. Korver is that Steve Kerr that key championship teams need. The Sixers aren't going to contend any time soon, but Korver is still young.

any how many with 40% from 3 point range do more than Korver in other areas of the game.  Run through the list and get back to me.

The BIGSTUD

That isn't the point. We aren't trading Korver for any of those 15 players. We'd be trading him for James Posey.

What does James Posey bring to the table that we don't already have? Nothing.

An expiring contract so Billy King can overpay for some crappy free agent. Duh.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The BIGSTUD

Here is all you need to know about that rumored deal which will never happen.

Billy King wants to get rid of Korver and wants Posey. That should tell you it's the wrong move right there.

Kyle Korver:

I think it's obvious which one can ball.

ice grillin you

all three of the players they draft in the first round this year become a better nba player than korver the minute they sign their contract

korver for an expiring contract = good move

korver gives up more points than he scores...hes more of turnstyle than that chain smoking hairy arm pitted eurotrashed stylishly dressed young man tony kukoc...just awful...get him and his money out of here...

then they will have even more money to spend in two years for a free agents to go with all the young guys...some of whom will hopefully have developed by then...where as korver is what he is...hes not even great at the one thing he does...shoot 3 pters...hes a good three pt shooter but you can get just as good or better ones easily
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Getting rid of Korver will mean 1 mean bad contract (Dalembert) on the team. Done.

Blasphemy!

No winning streaks. Solid loss to San An. Carney plays 3 minutes. Woop.
