I like the 2 #1 picks. Are the both Denver's or are they from someone else?

I like the expiring contract.

I'm indifferent on Miller. I don't think he'll help them win much more. But if they do get Oden somehow having a real point with Oden, Carney and the likes would be nice.

So they have 3 #1 picks in the draft. Wouldn't it be crazy if they got #1 and #2 and landed Oden and Durant?

Denver and Dallas will be picking in the 20s.  If they're lucky, the Sixers can use those to trade up for another pick in the 13-18 range...

there's a lot of guys i would love in this years draft (oden, durant, noah, etc) obviously, i just really want to stay away from both ACC whiteys (hansbrough and mcroberts).

The better option might be packaging one of those picks with Andre Miller to a team in desperate need of a PG and it might get us higher.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Why, so the Sixers can once again be desperate for a point guard?  Moron.

I'm a Magic fan, IGY.  But I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't cheer for the Sixers if they were playing anyone other than the Magic.

I'll definitely cheer for them now that Thug Lite is gone.

PS: We were Big 5 fans in my family.  We lived and died with Villanova basketball as children.  Until the Sixers got Dr. J, I didn't even know Philly had an NBA team.  Remember, I grew up in an era when the Sixers went 9-73 and the Flyers were busy winning Stanley Cups.  The Sixers weren't even on the radar screen for 99% of the people in Philly back then.

Dreaming of You :yay

QuoteSoft spoken. Very humble personality, which is a positive and a negative in that some would like to see him develop more of a swagger of confidence, but Duncan and Robinson were/are both silent (humble) assassins

Strange how being humble and soft spoken are considered character weaknesses by some.

So do you try to flip Miller for more cap relief and/or draft picks? Or do you keep him here and let him run the point and see what Igoudala, Carney, Korver and the new guys in the draft can do with him?

It'd be great to get rid of Dalembert now.

They might be able to trade him for some quality like Theo Ratliff.

SunMo

i'd take that trade, theo's contract is up after this year.
