i think its a nice trade in how much they got back....its just a terrible trade in that the opportunity to get oden is now gone

i think iggy and carney can be filthy wingmen with the right guy distributing to them...sammy can run the floor very well for a big man...with korver as a late man knockin down threes they could be if nothing else a real exciting up down team

but willie green and miller as the starting backcourt has to have other offenses around the league going cha ching

true and i guess my hopes arent all dashed...but in a pathetic eastern conference i think this puts them ahead of a team or three...but perhaps im over-evaluating their team now

very good trade...a pg who actually passes the ball & 3 first round picks next year.

and don't worry about miller ruining the lotto pick...they had lost 12 of 14 WITH a1 before he quit on the team & asked for a trade.  unless you think miller is straight up better than a1, i don't see them improving much.

miller definitely makes this team better than AI would

they just went from the worst point guard in the nba to andre miller....point guard being the most important position in the league and even more important on a team like the sixers who have basically all young players who need the ball in the right spots...plus these are guys who like to get up and down and ollie couldnt run with them...miller can


one good thing tho is this draft has at least three players players other than oden who in a lot of years would be overall #1 picks

They got value. It was a very good trade and I think 3 first round picks really helps this team rebuild. It actually would be great if they could keep Miller around past '09 (but he is 30 now, so we'll see how good he'll be when that time comes) and have a nice young core for next year who him distributing the ball to them.

With 3 first round picks the Sixers might have some flexibility to move up in the draft as well to get someone they want if they don't have a good enough lottery pick.

i really havent followed this thread but im happy for iverson. this FO is the worst in the league if u dont count isiah and the knicks. call me a iverson fan, apologist or whatever but anywhere is better than this place right now and while i know the nuggets dont match up or have a chance against the other western giants im happy for the man. he can get to the playoffs and who knows. i would have liked to have seen him go to a better scenario but good luck iverson.

always a sixers fan first but now i knwo which team i wanna root for in the west.  lets hope we can fire billy king and get someone who can manage this mess of a cap we have (which isnt helped by andre miller btw) and can draft well using the picks we recieved. and please someone stab dalembert.
