hah!  that little a-hole has been a malcontent and a locker room cancer for 10 years...do you really want him anywhere near the team now that they publically said he's getting traded?  there couldn't possibly be a worse idea than that.

and the only interest there's been so far is from teams like denver who will only take him if they can dump salary (nene) in the process...a1's trade value is crap.

Former NBA executive John Nash reported last night on Comcast SportsNet that the Sixers were considering trading Iverson and either Korver or Rodney Carney to the Los Angeles Clippers for Corey Maggette, Cuttino Mobley and either Sam Cassell or Shaun Livingston.

I could never root for Sam Cassell.  He looks like an alien and acts like a douche.

Carney is one of the worst rebounders in the NBA and his shot is nothing special.

If he has to be traded too to get a real player back in an Iverson trade so be it.  Picking him was a mistake in the first place.

seriously...even though he's a sg/sf, i expect him to pull down around 10 boards per game...but he's nowhere close to that!

So if you're 6-6 and everyone talks about how athletic you are and how you can jump out of the gym, shouldn't you grab a rebound every once in a while?

Remember above when I said that only one player over 6-3 had a rebound rate worse than Adam Morrison's? This is the guy. Yes, the super-athletic Carney is the worst rebounder of any forward, and of any player over 6-3. At least he's beating Earl Boykins.

He's young and was a first round pick so he has to be good!

Shawne Williams averages less RP48 than Carney and he's 6'9".

Not to mention, out of all the bad parts of the "team," you pick a rookies rebounding? Jesus.

I was not talking about the bad parts of the team, I was talking about Carney as a player. 

Carney isnt bad, but the dude should be far from untouchable especially if we can get back Livingston in a trade.
