So all they would get for Iverson is expiring contracts?   ???

Yep. At least in that proposal.

Oh, and wait until y'all get a load of this...

CSN is reporting that Billy King is consulting with Larry Brown about the trade proposals he has received for AI.

sweet....then we'll trade him for DC.

LOL.  Consult with the guy who got you into the mess how to get you out of it.

Yep - makes sense.

Go team.

Allen had no problems with Jim O'Brien. It was Sixers managment, they hated him.

This is such a boring circle of trade rumors. Just get it down, the Smith and Magloire one was fine. Get contracts that come off the table this year.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

adding to the latest rumor list:  A.I. to Nets for Vince Carter.

wonder what our resident Nets expert will have to say about that...

A'int happening. Not even a legit rumor...Jodi Mac stirred it up to get some callers as he is sitting in for Screamin' A on ESPN Radio NY.

Carry on.

i heard he's going to denver...the deal will happen tomorrow & charlotte might be the 3rd team involved & there might even be a 4th team.
1 or 2 first round picks coming the sixers' way along with some combination of joe smith, najera, andre miller, brevin knight, magloire, croshere, or some other expiring contract.
also, sammy or hunter could be part of the deal.

WTF.  King is worse than Ed Wade.

at least this deal would include a 1st rounder and possibly 2.  also, the sixers realize that ollie sucks so that's why andre miller or knight will be involved....they want an actual nba PG running the team to help the young guys develop.  the rest of the names are slugs with expiring contracts to make the salaries work.

I would love to see knight on this team. a true legit PG who  penetrates and always finds the open man. The problem then is somebody that can actually shoot consistently

Supposedly Elgin Baylor said on the radio out in LA that the Clippers are out because King has a 3-way deal involving Denver...

Thanks for you passing along your 100th rumor that will lead nowhere, Ed.

I hope Sammy is included. Get him gone.

2 #1's and some expiring contracts? Sold.

Whats up with Najera's deal? Expiring? He can rebound well. Maybe he has a spot here next year if not too expensive.

Denver's #1's are their own and Dallas'. Dallas looks like a top 3 NBA team right now so the will probably get no worse than 27th and Denver with AI could very well be a top 25 team as well.

I would still like something more. It would be different if we were getting JR Smith who is a young talent, but other than 2 late round picks we are getting nothing but expiring contracts.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.
