Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Duh.  But now they'll be even more sucky.

if i was a superstar athlete, i wouldn't be wasting my time meeting a bunch of suits and shmoes like you guys either.

Horseshtein. Without the suits and schmoes he doesn't get paid. If your boss tells you to show up for a client meeting, do you do it? Yes, because that's how your company makes money. And if you don't show up when your boss tells you to you get in trouble or fired.

These jackasses are working for a living just like everyone else. It's not like they are generating wealth for themselves out of thin air. They rely on the fans and the sponsors to have a paycheck and without the fans and sponsors, not only would they not be millionaires, but most of them would be making minimum wage. Showing no respect for the fact that someone has made you rich and famous is farging ignorant. But then again, we're talking about professional athletes here. Ignorance and jackassery is the norm.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

ice grillin you

the difference is if me or you dont show up for a meeting we get fired....iverson merely has to pay a fine....so its ridiculous to bring up the real world 9-5's

iverson was supposed to show to a function where he would be paraded around like a rare animal and sign autographs for rich bastich business men who wouldnt spare spit for him were he not a nba player...he chose to pay a fine instead of going into a place that would put him way out of his element...say what you want about iverson but he stays true to himself

i 110% blame him for the fan appreciation thing last year...that was pathetic to diss the fans like that...but as far as some suits...farg em

Those "suits" you're referring to are the same people he ignored last year, IGY.

If you're upset that he "dissed" the people in the third level of the Wach and not the people sitting at courtside, I'd like to understand why because both sets of people are fans.

One other thing... the Sixers care a hell of a lot more about the "suits" than they do the everyday Joe.  You can bet your ass on that.

lol at the suits being fans

nope

he dissed all the fans last year...not just the ones that went to that particular game but every fan that has at one time bought a ticket to see him...the suits dont go to games...they buy seats and give them to clients...the suits arent even close to real fans and can go to hell

and to the few suits that do post and are real fans he dissed them as well but those uits are not evne close to the same as the suits at the function he missed the other nite

The fan appreciation night was bad. This latest is crap. Who cares? Only the AI haters do.

Apparently Shav's broken leg was compared to Joe Theisman's injury by Igoudala. He said it was that bad.

The Sixers coddling of Iverson and enabling of his ridiculous behavior has produced a situation where not only aren't we surprised by him acting like this, we're actually used to it.

It's business as usual and that's one of the main reasons that the Sixers are the laughingstock that they are right now.

he gets paid $20 mill a year to show up at team functions like the one he blew off.  it's a job 365 days out of the year...not just the 82 days there's a game.

he also gets to pay fines when he doesnt feel like going to garbage like that...and thats what he chose to do

sure, he can put himself above the team and skip team events if he wants to.  but i hope people remember that the next time he calls himself a team leader or refers to the sixers as "his team".  he's a joke.

Nothing says team cohesion like one guy getting to do whatever the farg he wants while everyone else follows the rules.

yep...and everybody's forgetting the fact that he also got into an arguement with his coach at practice & left practice early that day.  what a whiny bytch...he doesn't get his way so he walks out on practice.
i hope he shavs his ankle.
