To slam him for not running more and calling him one-dimensional is retarded.

Yeah, I'll slam him for not being able to hit anyone in stride all game instead.

When McNabb was sacked, there really wasn't anywhere TO run. He should have thrown the ball away.

You obviously had a better view being at the game, but it was a 3 man rush if I'm remembering the play right (I'm not going to try and find it right now) why couldn't he run? Were the linebackers squatting 5 yards out because from what you could see other than the D line there was NO ONE there and 5 yards for McNabb isn't that hard to get when he tries.

And yes, he should have thrown the ball away... he should do that a lot instead of taking so many sacks.

Or watching the balls, when placed correctly, bounce off of guys hands.

That is the most frustrating thing to me. The farging dropped passes. They lead the NFL in them and frankly it is ridiculous.

DGunn reporting that they will practice at least 3 days this week plus coming in on Monday to watch film and get chewed out.

He ran when he saw openings. To slam him for not running more and calling him one-dimensional is retarded.

Bull.  He was sitting back behind a bunched up line in the middle of the field and he had the outside on either side to move to.  The ends hadn't even been able to get upfield.  If nothing else, flow to a side and see if you can get somebody dragging across the field.  If not, try to pick it up yourself.

3 farging L's in a row for the 1st time in 10 years.

1999 was fewer than 10 years ago.

Just sayin'

Only 7?  Whew!

Actually, 1996 was the last time the Eagles lost 3 in a row and still made the playoffs is what Spewdaro said.

The 4th and 6 in the first half McNabb had 7 seconds to pass, the O-line mauled the D line, and he had lanes to run. He didn't do it. He can be critcized for that play.

The whole team was poo too. And, even though they only gave up 86 yards passing, every single completion was key. Matt Jones' catch was a huge 3rd down conversion and Williams, I believe, had a huge catch for a 3rd down conversion.

They were destroyed in all facets of the game.

Yup. Look, McNabb didn't have a good game. OBVIOUSLY.

However, lets remember that earlier in the game (starting from the first fargign play), drops AGAIN hurt any sort of momentum they COULD have gotten. Blame McNabb yes, but remember that there are OTHERS on the team the farged up and bad. Westbrook with drops, Brown (of course) with drops, etc.

The only play I will rip McNabb for not running is on that 4th and 5 when he took the sack. They had the Jags spread out and he had GREAT pass-pro. He should've ran it.

And for Jeremiah Trotter, the MLB, to only have 2 tackles and 1 assist against a team who ran as much as JAX did it PATHETIC and INEXCUSABLE.

I agree on the 4th and 6. But that wasn't the only sack.

Don't get it twisted.

I'm not blaming McNabb for the game... or saying he was the sole reason we lost.  I'd have a hard time finding anyone who DIDN'T have anything to do with the loss.

I was criticizing McNabb on that  4th down play where he took a loss.  He's been blessed with the ability to make something out of nothing in those kind of situations and he seemed tp have a chance to do it and he didn't try.  Hell, even if he was able to find a WR open, they probably would have just dropped it, anyway.  But if nothing's there, he's got to TRY to pick up the yards himself.

Sheldon Brown;

"After that performance yeah, we need to get in here and practice and watch film"

DGunn trying to clown around with Sheldon asking him about his fur coat and he wasn't having none of it. Good job, Sheldon. Gunner is being a fool today. Him and Barkann.

You're missing my point.

There were posts calling McNabb one-dimensional and saying he is trying to hard to NOT be the running black QB. That, to me, is retarded. Considering he's been running more the past few games than he has in 3 years. I agree about that ONE sack.

OK.. we agree then.  The sack on 4th down is all I took issue with.

Sometimes it seems like you can see the wheels turning on McNabb. He just needs to react more. And he looks hesitant in some situations.

I can think of two plays. The 4th and 6 and the INT he almost threw to the D-linemen. He was trying to direct traffic although nothing was there. Just get something positive when your team is struggling so mightily all day.

But, can't just put all the blame on McNabb. the team was utter garbage today. It was really a disgusting game to watch. What a waste.
