I am pretty sure that when Andy is gone he will get replaced with a coach much worse than him.

If we get Marty (as in Mornhinweg) ball here, I am telling you right now I'm taking some you you fargers out with me.

I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

billick no
lovie to early to tell but he probably is better from what ive seen so far
fox is absolutely better
dungy = better

but youre comparing reid to all these people as tho andy is some sort of standard bearer...reid is not a very good coach...to even use him as a comparison point is silly

He has a better record than all of those coaches and with the exception of Billick - who we can all agree is a moron - has a better playoff record.

How again is that the coaches fault? The players, starting with Donovan, and ending with McDougle, lost this game today, not the coaches.

again its not about today...look at the bigger picture....or dont....and stick with your boy reid forever and continue down this same road

reids time is over...he had a nice run in spite of himself...its time to go...but if youd like to keep the status quo until mcnabb retires by all means enjoy....

No way is Dungy is better than Reid, after seeing those coaches I reconsider my comments on AR.

Who do you want to replace him? I look at the big picture and see a guy who won more playoff games than any other coach in our history, brought us to our 2nd SB and almost won it, and has built a team that is capable of being successful year after year. Today was not his fault - last week? sure - but not today. You're taking your frustrations out on the wrong guy. If anything you should be bashing McNabb, I'm always one to stick up for him but today he flatout lost this game for us.

get June Jones!  hey, he beat New Mexico St. last night in the hostile enviornment of Las Cruces.

How did McNabb lose the game? He sucked for a good bit of the game granted, but he also brought them back from a 17 point deficit.  As much as Reid pisses me off he really doesn't deserve to be fired at this point.  This game was a team loss.

as you know im not a huge mcnabb fan...but im not sure what his problem is and my guess is that hes in the wrong system...playing for a coach who cant call games and cant put him in positions that are most conducive to him winning a championship...on the other hand i KNOW reid is a disgrace as a game coach and needs to be changed

as for reids replacement im not sure right now...lets see what happens in the offseason and get who they believe is the best man for the job

He threw 3 picks and two of them were returned for TDs by the Bucs. Don't know if you noticed, but our D was shutting the Bucs O down. If either of them picks aren't returned for TDs we win this game. He gets the credit when they win - and most of the time rightfully so - and he'll get the credit for when they lose. This wasn't a team loss, from my perspective the Offense (aside from McNabb) and the Defense played a pretty good game.

I dunno... the 14 points he gave the Bucs may have had something to do with it.

the only defense of mcnabb i have is that tampa clearly knew what the eagles were going to do on both int's....they know reid better than he knows himself...donovan still made the throws tho and they were awful

I agree with what you are all saying, but he did put up 21 in basically the 4th quarter.   He did everthing he could at the end to win.  He was not good at all but to put the loss on his shoudlers is ridicullous.
