I averaged about a whole watermelon a day.

My wife saw what happened, so she decided to try it. She has a faster metabolism than I do, and she also averaged about a watermelon a day. Today was her second day and she was down three pounds that she didn't need to lose.

But there's a difference between dropping weight and losing it in target areas...or did you see any excess fat leave your body as you dropped weight?

Well, you can't target weight loss. It comes off where it comes off. The one thing it absolutely does is kills any bloat your body is holding on to. I saw it most in my face, which was noticeably thinner. I'm not a tank to begin with. Essentially, I went from 185 to 176.

3 days of watermelon is a cleanse which detoxifies the colon/kidneys/liver etc. Any real weight lost is due to the calorie restriction. Probably a good way to jump start a diet but it's not a long term solution.

Just for detox purposes this doesn't sound bad. Wasn't aware you could cleanse kidneys and liver.

Zanshin if it's the wheat you're avoiding, have you gotten yourself tested for celiac disease? Or have you eaten other foods with gluten in them and still feel fine?

I tweaked my lower back yesterday in my training camp gym class.

Any of you guys know the best way to recover fairly quick? I've been in a good zone lately and do not want to mess with the progress.

Pretty much...you want to rest your back but you don't want it to get too stiff...make sure you're keeping it somewhat loose. The back was meant to move and work for the rest of the body.
