I'm 6 feet tall and last August I was like 160 pounds.

Anybody have or knows an ab workout routine that works?

I'm making progress I'm up to 150, but I'm not seeing any progress with the abs...

Abs are made in the kitchen, I hear.

Take a core-strength class or read up on what they do in those classes, do a lot of cardio and eat a ton of protein and don't eat food that tends to sit in your midsection (carbs).

At least that's what I've heard. I've never had defined stomach muscles. All I drink is beer and I eat massive portions of pasta 2-3 times a week. Even when I was hitting the gym and running playing lacrosse constantly I've had a flat but completely undefined girl's stomach. I assume that it's because of my carbohydrate intake, but I honestly have no idea.

79,000 ways to work your abs out by typing in "best ab workout" in google...its awesome try it monk

mpmcgraw

99% of those are just marketing ploys for a certain machine or whatever.

I'd prefer to get advice from a real person who it has actually worked for.

@ rjs I don't think I really need to alter my diet I try to eat about 250 grams of protein a day, but I'm in the same boat with the flat stomach.  Everything else is coming together pretty well so I really want to start seeing some progress there.

This pretty much. Run a lot. Losing the fat on your stomach will make you more defined. That's a big reason you see those skinny ass long distance runners with 6 packs.

there you go then:  run around Kenya barefoot for a couple years and you'll get those abs you want

Awhile back I tried to get up early and hit the gym before work. It failed and I would go after work. The problem is that I was too lazy to get up at 545 and would have to force myself to go in the evenings (630ish).

This week I've been dragging my ass out of bed at 545 and going. It sucks getting up, but it has helped me. The gym isn't that crowded and I like being able to come home at night and relax or get some work done.

I have changed the way I eat and been running way too much and now I weigh less than I have since I was 20. I never meant to take it this far. Send help.

On the plus side, it doesn't take me 12 beers to get drunk any more. Only 8.

I'm a cheap date.

I was pushing 155 the other week then i got the flu.

Still i've gained about 20 pounds since high school ended and my abs are finally starting to get pimped out.  Very exciting.

Once I hold steady at 155 ish then im gonna start hardcore running.

Zanshin

I farged up a vertebrae and now I need to back off of lifting/running for the next month. That sucks, because I'll lose the momentum I've had going and I'll probably gain 15 pounds. Oh well, just another excuse to hit it hard when I can get back at it. It won't help that they closed my gym around the corner from work. Getting away from my desk to lift during the day was a huge benefit.
