I was thinking of trying Miller Lite. And possibly some Jack Daniels.

I've grown bored with my apartment's gym. It worked well for awhile, but they don't have too much in the weight department. All they have is a few machines and dumb bells. I'm going to go join the Y...its right down the street and obviously has everything.

I think I'm going to try one of those spinning classes...they have one Monday and Wednesday nights and would help eliminate the boredom of the eliptical machine 6 days a week for cardio.

unless you're in an actual luxury apartment building, that's about as good as you'll get with most apartment community gyms.  good for basic fitness and cardio but crap if you want a solid, total body workout.

spin class is going to farg you up royaly.  i suggest smoking some rock before class.

I'm looking forward to it...one of my boys at work is doing one and he said its kickin his ass. I'm tired of farging around with these last few pounds and I want them gone. I wanna be 220-225 and be done with it.

Started back at the gym Monday. I do 30 minutes of cardio and 15-20 minutes of weights at a fast pace. Good news is my strength has held up even though I haven't lifted much in the last 2 years. My goal is to get back to 200 lbs. by opening day of the NFL. Not even gonna bother weighing myself but I'm guessing I have around 30 lbs. to lose.

Jay, if you don't mind could you post your workout routine and diet. I have a decent one in place but I'm interested to see how you went about it.

And fyi I'm posting this message as a motivator.

Fat boy on a diet, gonna try it.

No problem...I'll hit it up later today after we get back from the movies.

I ran 3.3 miles with the dog this morning, which is about a mile and a half further than my usual daily run.

There isn't enough flax seed oil in the world to make my knees feel better.

FWIW, I've had knee problems for over a year now, but they are much better after seeing an acupuncturist (shoulder too). I'm just able to start doing lower body work outs for the first time in months.

Here's the plan I'm following

It's basically lean meats, veggies, and fruits. Little to no carbs.

Did 30 minutes of cardio today followed by 15 minutes of arms. Feelin great. Pants even feel a little looser, but that may be because I wore them to the Phils game yesterday

You're all fat and getting older by the minute.  Time to accept it and stop kidding yourselves.
