every year for the past three or four i go on that cabbage soup diet johnson a few times after tailgating/holiday season is over...it helps me rid the 20-30 lbs i gain during that time

i just wanted to vent and say that the first time you do it is utter hell...im currently in day two and im losing it...im shaky and weak.....im starting to see things and i cant understand what anyone says to me at work....

in short.....i wanna kill myself right now
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Eat less.  Move more.  

Weird fad diets that offer quick weight loss are not good.  Dropping more than 2-3 pounds a week isn't especially healthy.  And when you do drop a lot of weight quickly, it's largely water and muscle.  Not the way to go.

i gain at least two pounds every eagles game (home and away)

throw in the holidays (in the govt there is a holiday party almost every other day from thanksgiving to x-mas)

and i easily gain 20-30 if not more every sept to january

General Motors: Weight Loss Diet Program. Thats just shady.

Sounds like this diet will make you shtein your ears off.  What's the hardest thing about it? So when you get through it, do you just continue it or what I don't have problems with staying away from certain foods. I eat pretty healthy right now, but my metabolism is so slow, I work at a computer and havn't been to the gym since septmeber.  I lost 15 lbs through carb diet and gym within like 2-3 months, but gave up on both and gained it all back plus alittle since then.

If people don't change their regular eating/exercising habits, the weight always, always piles back on.  If what you're doing isn't working, you need to change what you do.

Also, keep in mind that that when you eat like crap, your body gets loaded with salt and assorted bloat.  That initial burst of weight loss is that, not fat.

i piss waaaaaay more on it than shtein...but i have an iron stomach

the hardest part by far is the first few days...when its all fruits and veggies...i reccomend starting it on a friday or the weekend...because those first days are a lot rougher just having to sit at your desk and think about food and have to work plus deal with all the misery that comes with it....at home you can do things like go to the movies or the mall or just lay on the couch and moan...

i usually do it once every month from january to about may/june

but it also works as a nice kick start to eating better...it cleanses your body and shrinks your stomach

the best thing about it is that its a plan that you can follow on a piece of paper...as opposed to a "im just gonna eat healthier" diet which doesnt have any real lines drawn in the sand...another big incentive is that before you start you will be spending a large grocery bill on all the food...more than anything the fear of wasting all that money on food i normally wouldnt buy keeps me to it

its also only a week long with a big pot of gold at the end...its not a six month thing where you lose 12 lbs

so you lose about 16 lbs a month each month from Jan to June?   And then you gain all of that weight loss back anyway?
