They're on track to have 25 mill free for the cap.  They are now stocked with talent and can move that talent into good trades or just develop that talent.

Dumping salary for young talent on the blue line might not be 'great' but it's something this franchise has no history of doing, so it's more than welcome.

i would definitely take him...but i think the price will be more right for biron

Do you really think Biron is a huge upgrade? I'd rather they go out and get a top flight goalie than a Biron.

I'm with RJS on this one, Biron seemed to peak.  Ryan Miller is very good, I think Biron is just a step above Esche.

biron hasnt regressed...they have two starting goalies there and went with the younger guy miller...biron was outstanding last year when miller got hurt

giguere is better...but for the money i dont know...id rather spread the money around and upgrade the scoring up front...they arent winning a cup with whoever they get in goal..what they need is a competant #1 guy who doesnt give up bad goals every game...biron would fit that role perfectly

I dont think he's worth a 1st, its supposedly Nashvilles First.  But this means either Nitty or Esche is GONE

I like Biron but the more i think about it, he's a FA in june, why didnt they wait and save the picks?
