Picard had 5 points last night  :yay  I think everyone knew that they would lose lastnight, its just typical of how bad this season has been.  Oh yeah Yay Nitty  :puke

They might win a home game this month.  The Blues are coming to town...

The fifth goal that Nitti gave up would have been saved by a high school goalie on roller skates.

He was a farging joke in net last night.

SunMo

i don't think you mean the fifth goal, but i know which one you are talking about, he was awful.

from Philly.com
QuoteWhich Flyers are "highly unlikely" to be traded by the deadline? Mike Knuble and Simon Gagne, Holmgren said... . Three clubs remain interested in defenseman Derian Hatcher, sources say. Hatcher wants to stay here, but he has said if the club wants to move him, he understands... . Ryan Potulny, whose ice time had dwindled from an average of 11 minutes to six in the last 10 days, was sent down to the Phantoms. He had five goals and nine points in 25 games.

Wasn't the fifth goal the one he gave up with no one in front of him where he flat out whiffed with his glove as he was sprawled out on his ass?

If they moved him and freed up cash it'd be great.  That said he's played much better since hitch left

yeah, possibly, i'm not sure.

i just remember that the shot from the blueline with no one in front of him was probably the worst one he gave up.

either way, it was a butchers job.

I was watching the game with my idiot brother-in-law Devils fan and he said he couldn't remember Brodeur playing a worse game in net than last night.

A flat-out miserable game from the defenses & goalies last night on both sides.  Still, it was entertaining in a freak show sort of way.

also nice to see a more physical game in this new era of "anti-old school" NHL hockey.
