3-1 loss to the Isles. Riding a 4 game losing streak. I'm rooting for the #1 overall pick at this point. Trade Forsberg etc.

a much better showing against Buffalo tonight...although same result, a loss, albeit an OT loss.

there were 3 fights.   so maybe there is life in Philly hockey????

they gave up a 4th round pick to get a less fast Ben Eager?

that being said...hopefully he arrives in Pittsburgh tonight so he can cave Crosby's face in.  because we all know Hatcher won't do it, no matter how many times he makes him look silly.

Problem is Fridge got his face caved in a month ago by Boogard in Minnesota.  I thought he was out for the rest of the year.  Personally i think its a waste.  I loved the fridge but i dont think a guy who's orbital bone is broken for a second time is a good enforcer.  You have guys like Grant, Cote(when healthy) in the system who are younger.
