Cowboys/Eagles Game

McNabb has raised the level of his game so far this year. No doubt about it.

The long passes McNabb is throwing lately are the prettiest passes of his career. Both Baskett and Brown's TD catches vs. Dallas were picture perfect passes.

I was going to make a post about his long passes this year but the board was down. But yeah, he's been nailing the long ball pretty damn perfectly all year. The wrs haven't really had to slow down or out and out stop to wait on the ball to get there nor have they come down just off the fingertips too often. McNabb's hitting on all cylinders right now.

The O=line is playing huge. When Donny has time and trust in his line his game is always sick.

The Oline's been great. Andrews is a monster and Herremans has been awesome along with Jackson. The youngin's have been exceeding expectations.

I'd like to add, I went back to the "TO signs with Dallas" thread and I think Phreak and I were the only ones saying TO would suck this year with Bledsoe throwing to him behind a shtein oline.

Since my WRONG posts are always shoved down my throat, I'd like to bring that little tidbit up.

Nothing wrong with being wrong, especially in this case. The last guy who was never wrong got nailed to a cross, so don't sweat it.

I knew a healthy McNabb would be a top qb, but I didn't expect the kind of play we are seeing now. That TD pass to Brown in double coverage was a thing of beauty, and there is no qb in the league past or present who could have thrown it any better. It was perfect. He says that it wasn't about him and TO, that is was all about the Cowboys and Eagles. I believe that to a certain extent, but DAMN!! I think the only person who has ever pissed him off more than fat ass Rush Lumbaugh is TO. McNabb has something to prove, and so far he's proving it in spades.

I also remember you saying something about the Eagles being better than last year because of "upgrades at key postitions"  Like maybe the D-line.

Agreed.  He's still too tight at times.  All the same, I think he's still improving with each game/season...he's playing his best football ever right now and shows no signs of regression.

i agree the shorter passes are a little hard, but big time players, especially if Reggie Brown wants to be one, make those catches.  ive come to accept LJ for what he is.
