Week 2 - Giants at Eagles GAME thread

SunMo wants to buy out our $20 bet (he bet the Eagles would have a better record at the end of the season; I bet the Giants would have the better record) for $15.

I'm going to let him do it because I'm a nice guy, but that $20 would be as good as mine at season's end.

BTW, this loss doesn't hurt so much anymore. 3 in a row leading into the bye is much worse.

Agreed. I actually feel better. Last week, I was concerned the season was toast. Now, I'm certain.

It's a calming feeling, really.

Last week I was angry.

Today I feel detached. I could actually watch and enjoy the late games and even watch the NBC pre-game show. Normally when they lose I'm so pissed I can't stand to watch any highlight shows

Exactly what I was telling Mrs. Feva.

At first I was angry, but then I thought, "They don't seem to care, why the hell should I?"

Now, I've just accepted the fact that this team isn't sniffing the playoffs this year so I've moved past it. I'm pretty much already over this loss. They're a lot easier to take once you remove the expectations.

I agree wih the above posts. I'm not even hurt by this loss. Just pure anger. I'm not sitting around worried after this one. Just sort of like oh well, this team stinks.
