the Giants secondary is awesome.

But they're definitely better than the Eagles though.  Remember that.

Who said that?  Your homericity is getting ridiculous.  The only certainty is that the Eagles (especially the current injury-depleted secondary) are not CERTAINLY better than any team in the division.  They are still 0 for 7 against in their last 7 divisional games until proven otherwise.  Freakin' ridiculous homers.

Hanson would be the best CB on that team.

...and the worst homer of them all checks in.

Peter King on MMQB said he's writing off the second quarter last week as a fluke.  He said the Eagles are the best team in the NFC East for 80% of the season  :-D

Peter King is a dumb-ass.  He doesn't even pretend to be much of an expert, as he shouldn't.

And so begins the Giant implosion

QuoteIt all left New York's Jeremy Shockey irate — at his coach.

"We got outplayed, and outcoached. Write that down," the volatile tight end said after he was told of Coughlin's frustrated outburst.

Shockey had four catches for 58, inconsequential yards.

When asked what he meant by "outcoached" Shockey said, "You saw the game."

I heard Shockey just bought a new mansion:

I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

1. Here you go with the ridiculously predictable homer comments.  At least try to mix it up a bit.

2. I was talking about the Giants team as a whole so the whole rant you just went on about the secondary is irrelevant.

3. If you can't take a little sarcasm without flying off the deep end like that...  :-D

1. Since you keep overstating my criticisms, I'll keep pointing out your need to do so.

2. That changes nothing.  Like I said, all I said is that after the week 2 is that the people who said the Eagles were certainly or definitely better than the Giants were ridiculous, and I still think that.  I also did not say the opposite was true.

3. You're not being sarcastic.  You're being an insufferable homer.

1. I never said your name at all... so I don't know where you get I'm overstating shtein of yours.

2. Like I said... I think all of the people who said the Giants are definitely better than the Eagles were equally ridiculous.  I don't believe they are "clearly" better and yesterday's events only reinforced that.  Go check my posts... my point was that the Eagles played a better game that day, which I still believe.

3. Sure.  Go ahead and tell me what I meant.  I was being sarcastic.  You missed it.  No biggie.  It's OK to admit you're wrong every once in a while.  You don't have to insist otherwise.

Gabrielle Union is hot, and those who think otherwise are CERTAINLY wrong.

you people need to take some valium.

I'll never turn down free valium, but maybe you should take some too.  For those of us who don't get the tv broadcast, the game thread is a great way to follow along.  If you, coming late to the thread, don't like it, maybe you should not read it?

If the game isn't on a broadcast channel in my region, or on basic cable, or if I'm not at a bar that has the game, then yeah.  There are games I don't see.
