It indicates alot for the division especially with the so called competition in it

I guess. The Eagles need to worry about winning enough games to get into the playoffs period. Vying for the division would be the unexpected icing on the cake.

unlike most tiki doesnt concern me in this game
however eli does

i still dont believe the front four can create pressure on their own and until they do it against a competant team color me worried

i see eli picking apart the secondary
8 yards here
7 there
12 over here
ect
goin for a very very high % something like 23-30 for 225
winging the ball around
long ass drives
which will eventually lead to tiki busting out in the second half

people are way to happy over beating a pathetic houston team...they come back to earth this week

27-13 giants

if the eagles win the defense has to step up and be as good as most people think they are...i wanna see it first and if i do and the birds win this game ill be the first to say they are in the playoffs no question...sacks turnovers all that.....this is the time to break out
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

The birds could easily start this season 5-0 and still only finish 9-7. This game is important, but indicates nothing.

couldnt disagree more

a win means more than you can imagine
a loss not so bad

A loss to me holds a hell of a lot more weight than a win. But I don't really care enough to argue the nitty gritty. Go Birds.

he's never even come close to that before. in fact only has 4 games in his short career over 60%. his career % is 52

eli is not that good.

a win gives them a two game lead over half the division
make a statement that they are indeed back
puts half the division at 0-2
puts the giants in a great position to go 0-3
puts the eagles in the playoffs

a loss puts them about where i thought there were anyway
beat the bad teams lose to most of the better teams
still have a chance at a wild card

All I gotta say is thank Gibbs that game only happens 1 time every 4 years.

God would be offended that you used Gibbs name in his place as he feels that's an insult to Coach Gibbs.

Wait......wrong board.  My bad.

david carr hasnt had a decent OL yet. but over his career has put up ok numbers, and has maintained an over 60% completion rate since 2004.

Carr is an asset to an otherwise inept team. While Eli(so far) is a weakness in an otherwise strong team.

Agreed.  There's a reason why no one has broke out the bust label on Carr yet and that's because he's been far from a bust.  He's a decent qb right now on a pathetic team.  I'd like to see what kind of QB Carr would be if he even had mediocre talent surrounding him.
