No, because you didn't mean it... and the fact that you care more about the Mets than the Eagles is disturbing.

Eagles 27
Texans 7 (possibly 10 with a late FG)

Kearse, Howard, Bunkley register sacks.
Offensive player of the game: Reggie Brown (or LJ Smith)

I predict an ass raping in houston. they might not even get a TD.  The Eagles win big with an impressive display from D and Offense.

Bunkley looks much more dominant than Williams.

Kearse, Howard, and Killa Cole are dancing with Carr all day.

Reggie shows up, Dante is blanketed, and L.J puts in some serious work underneath. Avant starts catching first downs.

Individually, the RBs won't wow anyone, but the total production/touches will be midly surpising.

I am just so stoked to see Howard at DT with Mikey P/Bunkley, and Cole and The Freak on the ends.

OT game. It wouldn't be right if nobody was freaking out over the offense all week.

Just remember...

I havent done that at a Mets game....yet.

I'll go with 23-7, not paying attention to our good friends on Sportsline.com; while Prisco and Harmon split on the outcome, both of them say the Texans will score at least 20 points--I don't see that.

On another board I read where the Eagles were studying the film of last year's 49-21 Denver blowout, since now Houston is running the same schemes.

However, I also wouldn't be a little adverse to Reid giving Kubiak some payback for that game last year--running in a score from the 6, in the last seconds, when you're already up by 21--that was totally unnecessary. And it was a little different than the Eagles-Cowboys game from Ryan's days, since Ryan was paying Landry back for playing regulars against replacement players and running up the score.

Just remember if you punch a Phillies fan, you are probably punching an Eagles fan.  That ain't cool.

Stick to the Braves fans.  They could all use a good punching.

Eagles 27

Bend but don't break, baby.

And running trick plays too.

The wildcard to this (and my bets this weekend) is the eagles zesty opening day record under Reid. They are 2-5 under him, he says that he pays no attention to that, and so hasn't changed the way he prepares and I beleive him.

Those 5 losses statisically represent 12% of Andy's Regular season losses. If it were normal distribution according to his win-loss record, they should have won 4.375 of them instead of 2.

Basically he is more than twice as likely to lose on openeing day then an any other day. I don't know why he doesn't pay attention to this, but over 7 years, I think it is signifigant.

QB Eagles

I'll go out on a limb and predict that the Eagles will win.
