Just chiming in since I was without access yesterday. Great deal; and I'd much rather have Stallworth than Lelie. Excellent work. And let's be realistic-- Stallworth doesn't have to be a superstar, he just has to be a legitimate NFL receiver to make this a win for the Eagles. Anything more than that is icing on the cake. Fragile ego, or not, the Eagles are better today than they were yesterday morning.

Agreed on everything you said.  If he posts numbers anywhere close to last year then this trade will have been a steal for the Eagles.

Would anyone like to summarize what Stallworth had to say at his news conference?

I was doing some actual work at the time and missed it.

Nothing important. He says he knows about 60%-70% if not more of the offense already.

Said the situation in NO was blown out of proportion.

Said he knows some of the guys on the team already.

Said he'll do whatever it takes to help the team. Long passes, short passes, whatever.

It was pretty short and that was about it.

He won't have numbers anywhere near the numbers he had last year. But he won't have to to help this offense.

dante will play primarily outside for a while as they dont want to overload him with the offense at this point...down the road they may work him inside

not sure if he will play vs the jets...wanna see how he picks up the offense in the next few days...either way tho he will not play much
