The Saints needed LB help bad. They traded a 4th to DAL for Scott Shanle a few days ago. They signed Wayne because Anthony Simmons retired. They have Tommy Polley down there too.

Their LBs are worse than the Birds...by far.

Simoneau wont hurt them. He isnt as bad as everyone says he is. He quietly had one of the best preseasons by a LB on the Eagles.

Simoneau + 3rd rounder is better then anything they were going to get. I like the deal for both sides.

It's going to be a 3rd if the Eagles sign him to an extension, if you havent read that yet.


If the Eagles dont sign him to an extension, there's going to be many, many riots. I dont care how well he does/doesnt do this year unless he is absolutely abysmal. As long as he gets a smaller contract then Branch I dont care how much money he gets.
