Reno Mahe got injured. To be honest, I was smiling the entire time they were talking. For some reaso that picture of Reno that was on the TV for half a minute cracked me up.

91 yards for Greggie on two catches. -15 yards for a penalty. What the hell happened to this guy?

Positives:

- Buckhalter. Great game. Showed he can cut, accelerate, and take some hard hits. I guess we won't be needing Stephen Davis or Duce anymore. Except for when Buck gets hurt in week 2.

- First team defense again. Didn't let up a point. Got good pressure. Howard with another sack. The LBs played well too, and the secondary played pretty good.

- The offense wasn't great but wasn't bad. Reggie Brown had a good game. Greg Lewis did too.

- Dirk Johnson was good at holding. I don't think Detmer will make this team.

Negatives:

- Detmer again. This could very well have been his last game as an Eagle, although he'll probably make it to the last cuts if he does get cut.

- Todd Pinkston. Not that he played terrible, but this was his big game to come out and show everyone he was ready, and had one catch for 3 yards and showed absolutely no will to try to get YAC. He just wanted to go down.

- Dexter Wynn sucks

That's about it. Wasn't very many negatives tonight.

Well, there goes Deion Branch.....

Not sure about that.  It gives Lewis a chance to make the team, but Pinkston did nothing at all and couldn't get open.  You know McNabb or Garcia would have tried to get the ball to him if he was remotely open - but they didn't even throw in his direction.  Gaffney is no lock after another *meh* performance with the 2nd-teamers.
