I'll certainly include myself in the GoT nerd category, but you do have a pretty substantial overlap outside of that with this show now.

i still think if igy watches it he won't like it.  i have some hope for you.

Since George Jefferson died today, I watched some clips from All In The Family before they made The Jeffersons spin off.  George Jefferson and Archie Bunker are 2 of my favorite TV characters ever and I thought they were amazing together.  Anyway, I'm watching old clips of the 2 of them going at each other and came across this one from AITF when Lionel and Jenny got engaged.

The engagement carried over to The Jeffersons.  Jenny's mom is Helen in both shows but her dad's name in AITF is Lewis Willis and on The Jeffersons it's Tom Willis.  Not to mention that Lewis Willis and Tom Willis are nothing alike, both in appearance and personality. 

Any of yous know why they made that change?  I'm sure they wanted Willis to be somewhat dimwitted and dopey for The Jeffersons so that George could make fun of him, but why change the name when everyone else's stayed the same?

Though Mad Men creator Matt Weiner famously holds his cards very, very (very) close to the vest, there is one thing he was willing to reveal about Season 6, when TVLine spoke with him about the AMC drama's latest haul of 17 Emmy nominations.

Peggy, played by Elisabeth Moss, "is going to be on the show next year," Weiner shared. "I can't say how much, in what capacity or what [her story] is going to be, but she has not left the show."

Wife and I almost pulled an all-nighter last night finishing season 4 of Breaking Bad. Wow.

And all I have to say about the season 5 premiere is farg YOU VINCE GILLIGAN AND YOUR RIDICULOUS OVERUSE OF TEASING THE FUTURE/FORESHADOWING.
