i watched the first four or five episodes of breaking bad didnt like it and stopped...but i have a question...i thought in the second or third episode the doctors told him he had like months to live...how is the show now in like its tenth season...why isnt he dead

well at least you tried. but i will say it gets insanely better in s2 and s3 so id go back and hang tough.

and its a tv show. did you really think the main character was going to die? as sunmo said the cancer was the reason and catalyst for his actions....and its probably only going to last 5 seasons so in real time in the show from cancer diagnosis to death (which im guessing will be in the last episode) it would be like 1-2 years.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I started watching Dexter because a couple of my friends never stopped hyping it up, now I'm almost done with season 3 and really like it. Do you all hate it like I expect you to?

GoT grabbed over 3 million viewers from the finale, up from 2.1 at the start of the season.  That's a very promising sign going forward.

Book 5 is out July 12th for anyone who is interested in catching up with the series that way.  They stayed almost shockingly in line with the plot of book 1 in the show.

the show already got picked up like 4 months ago. its going to run for a looooong time. dont worry, nerds.

also the norm sports show got got. meh.

yeah but HBO does that after a first season almost all the time, even with awful ratings.  I was happy to see a 33% audience build throughout the year.

I love Norm, but his show was hit or miss.

overall the wire is still a better series but that statement is not even remotely true. but they're totally different shows and BB has some amazing scenes where you're just on the edge of your seat.

If you're hooked after 2 episodes and like the imp and the douchey prince you're gonna love the rest of the show.

Agreed. The Wire is my all time favorite show but season 5 didn't live up to the hype and BB is incredible.

I just rewatched the key scenes in the finale of s3 and holy hell. I can't wait.

Looks like James Spader is going to join The Office, but as Kathy Bates' replacement (nice) instead of Carell's
