same here, that opening scene with dude on the roof was intense.

Wasn't it though!

The acting is very bad. The main character Rick is pretty good. Other than that... ugh.

The whole scene with the abusive husband was laughably bad. It's a shame though, the pilot was awesome and the black guy from Hung and Jericho was good in it. If they bring him back and weed out some of the bad settlers, it can become good again. All the settlers are awful.

i actually gave the first three episodes a chance as i stupidly listened to the hype...it was terrible...the writing is so elementary and the acting downright embarrassing...and could the zombies be any less scary or threatening...it looks like some night of the living dead shtein when it needs to be on a zac snyder steeze

i cant tell if people like this because its cool to like zombies so they feel they have to say its good or because the threshold for what is a good tv show these days is so low that a show like this passes for good because everything else is so bad
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I disagree with everything you wrote with the exception of your acting comment, because it has gone progressively downhill since the premier. I have the same recurring nightmare after every episode, that I have to barricade myself somewhere and fend off zombies.

they are slightly more terrifying than the thriller video

I am a huge fan of the zombie genre and I think Walking Dead is borderline retarded. There's been 1 or 2 moments of suspense and some fairly effective gore, but it's pretty cliche as far as the zombie-genre goes. And the characters are about as uncompelling as you can get.

I'm sure I'll watch the rest of the season, but meh.

stop taking it so seriously

its a show about zombies, its not trying to be the wire
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i will as long as you stop making everything about zombies good

a tv show about ANYTHING can suck...stop being a leeple

this is the first thing ive ever seen that has to do with zombies and im enjoying it. its a fun a watch. im not going to read the comic, im not going to pour through night of the living dead and 28 days later. i dont give a shtein. the well that is this show will dry up real soon probably. but for now, might as well enjoy it.

If you're watching TV to get a scare, you may want to try the local news instead.

The man. The myth. The legend.

The Walking Dead is the equivalent to "Pride & Prejudice & Zombies" a decent concept, but in the end you're still reading Jane Austin.

Jane Austen sucks so bad.

Just saw episode three of WD and thought it was good actually. Better than episode two. Not as much turn-around-and-take-it-from-behind, though. So that was disappointing.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.
