you people are some of the worst human beings in the world. especially the guy who couldnt get through it. god lord you have terrible taste. you have got to be the only person who quit on it. but im guessing you didnt quit on the sopranos even though it was actually terrible for about half the seasons. no, dont quit on something thats familiar to you. its much more comfortable to watch the white mobsters.

you would like to think that quality trumps all. that the hardest part is actually get people to watch it. but once they do they are sucked in for life.

now the idea of someone as white and MA was charlie actually popping in the dvds to watch a show about poor blacks in baltimore is an accomplishment. right there, he should be hooked. but i guess not. i guess some people just flat out suck.

no they arent sucked in...i know plenty of people who couldnt finish season one...its takes patience to watch the show...there isnt an earthquake a plane crash or an alien invasion ten minutes into the first episode

theres never been a show like it and there is a lot of people who cant handle that

im shocked that someone would give up after 2 seasons.

if it was 1-2 episodes then yea, sure. but to give it 2 seasons then quit? it makes no sense.

every person here we convinced to watch it loved it. every person i convinced to watch in the real world loved it. i figured if you treated it like a novel and used the first 3-4 eps as set up, you would be IN for life.

but, as usual, im wrong.

stuff as good as the wire rarely gets appreciated like it should...as mentioned before america is not a smart place
