I've got maybe four shows queued up on tivo, and even with all my free time I've got a dozen of each I haven't watched yet.

And why do you people watch so much television. Jesus I wish I had that kind of time so I could anything else.

Other than sports and porn I think I watch about 5 hours worth of television a week max.

Sports is all I watch with regularity. I catch Simpsons/Seinfeld/Family Guy reruns as background noise. I catch most Lost episodes. Used to watch Nip/Tuck. Um... I watch IASIP when I happen to catch it but I don't even know what night it airs (it has been hilarious this season from what I've seen)...

I don't know, I mean I guess that's a decent amount of TV but 90% of the shows you guys talk about I would never even consider watching. They don't even sound remotely interesting. Ooooh, another gritty cop drama. Or some sort of gritty comedy. Or a gritty second baseman with a plastic shell of hair to protect him from all of the grit that gets gritted at him.

In closing TV can suck it and Chase Utley is an alien.

shtein,  I'm old enough to remember the first V mini series.  I am still recovering from the last scene when the woman gives birth to an alien.  Good stuff in 1983.

I watched V when I was a kid. Didn't seem like something that screamed that it needed a remake. I'm just not interested in the new one at all.

i checked out that show the league which comes on after IASIP this morning and it has definite potential.  first show was funny but i feel like there's only so far they can go with it.

the thing i dont get about V is how do you make a mini series into a regular series

i mean basically this is just another series about aliens that is trying to attract some additional viewers by naming itself after a popular mini series from the past

its going to be very limited. with these kinds of shows now they are making a real effort to send end dates and not have them drag. alien nerd fests are not my thing so im not gonna watch but it will be structured.

problem is the show is on its 4th showrunner which is basically a team firing its coach 4 teams in the first 2 months

caught the last of the leagues first episodes and all of it tonight. really funny. a little too over-reliant on the sex humor but overall made me laugh a lot.

its always sunny was off the charts again. they are on fire this year.
