The show is formulaic and brutal, and the lead actor should probably be raped by the half-dead water buffalo John Cocktoston just hit with his car.

wow you are NOT funny

chuck is on the fence. chances obviously down because nbc has 5 less hours to play with. it will not be on the fall sked, save for fridays.

if im nbc i ax it. i realize its good and popular on the internet, but with the numbers being what they are and the shape nbc is in, they need to let it go.

nbc could bring it back as a midseason show, thats a distinct possibility. if they let it go, im guessing the campaign will be big for a cable channel to pick it up or for something like the friday night lights directv deal to go down. basically the show isnt dieing quite yet. id be shocked if it wasnt back in some capacity.

Okay - a few things about Chuck:

You would think that after two years of having the intersect in his head the douchebag would have become accustomed to it.  Furthermore, you would think the writing staff would have changed the dynamic of Chuck being freaked out and completely inept every time something happens in the story.  Hell, they haven't even changed the facial ticks he gets when he flashes.  The guy has basically been a spy and the most intelligent person on Earth for two years, yet he still acts like a bumbling jackass?  Come on...

What's worse is the on-again, off-again romance between Chuck & Sarah.  Will they or won't they is such a tired farging cliche in television, it's not even worth exploring anymore, because there's simply no interesting way of telling that story.

All that aside, I actually like certain parts of the show.  I think Morgan is hilarious, I like John and the babes are ridiculously hot, especially Ellie.

They could tweak the show and subsequently make it far less predictable but because it's network television I just don't see it happening.

It's like Jericho in that respect.  Great premise but it was ultimately doomed because of cliched writing, mediocre acting, and piss-poor directing.

Speaking of The Matrix, Reloaded was on the Spanish channel yesterday. It was a lot more enjoyable when I didn't have all that stupid plot giving me a headache.
