Anyone watching Lost? I think it's been a really solid opening to the season, but there's not the usual buzz around it.  I think they opened up too many questions and lost a good chunk of the viewership last year. And the people I've mentioned it to, seem really confused...which makes me thing they're a little retarded, because if anything I think the storyline has come more into focus than it has ever been.

I've been DVRing it and watching it on the weekend. Haven't caught this week's episode. Netflix and DRV have completely changed the way I watch TV and I farging love it. I don't watch shtein when it's actually broadcast anymore. farg broadcast television.

Yeah, I am a big fan of the show.  Not sure who you are talking to but if anything, the show is steadily answering many questions from previous seasons.  For example why Alpert got pissed at Locke when he picked the knife, Widmore's previous attachment to the island, and what happened with Rousseau.  Just to name a few.  There are some more questions coming up (which I won't mention here) but overall more questions are being answered than new questions presented.  Great season so far.

The show gets better and better for me. The Temple Ben told Alex to go to when the people from the freighter were coming was shown. He said it was the only safe place left on the island and now we know why. Mrs. Hawking is creepy. I don't know what to think of Faraday, he seems to have split personalities. I think episode 7 the Life of Jeremey Bentham will be the best of this season.

Me too.  I farging hate it when at the end, you're thinking "Oh, shtein!" and they pop that "LOST" up on the screen.

BSG was great again last night.  I love how they reveal aspects of the mythology of the show in such an offhand manner.   The writing is excellent and so is the acting, especially Edward James Olmos.

I must agree. This last season has all the previous seasons coming together to one conclusion. I like how they just throw in on top of every thing else going on that the Galactica is about to break up from old age.

Andy Richter is going to return to Conan's show when he takes over 11:30.  He won't appear on stage as a sidekick like the old days but he'll be involved with the live show and pretaped segments and stuff....

I thought the life and death of Jeremey Bentham episode would be a little better but the two episodes leading up to it were incredible.

I thought the Locke episode was great. Not exciting in any way, but great at moving the story forward and adding an unexpected twist at the end.
