There's no way even VV himself could watch that back and think he's right for it in any way. Seeing it any other way would be flat-out delusional.

the guy from fnl is almost as bad...but he's  catching a break because he didn't do a thousand comedies right before this

I haven't decided if the writing has fallen off significantly or if MM's delivery made up for it last year. 

I also think the show is being hurt by having too many disparate strands of groups / people / etc.  I know the first season was criticized for being only about two people with no one else mattering, but I like they've gone overboard in correcting that.

it's pretty simple to me last year was ok writing with great acting and this year is ok writing with terrible acting

but as bad as the acting is this year I think the big difference is not acting or writing it's story...last years storyline was creepy suspenseful and truly frightening....this year is a sleep inducing cop procedural standard fare whodunit

I can't recall the name of it but there was an awful show earlier this year with a murder mystery starring Ryan phillipe that was so bad it was good that I cared more about than td

There was something lacking in Fargo (tv series) as well, but story was more interesting and acting was way better. It was cast pretty damn well too.

yea...fargo was insanely good. it was my favorite thing on tv last year.

i highly recommend you all stop watching TD and go watch that.

anyone watching mr. robot ? watched the 1st two episodes and dug it. catching up on ep 3 tonight.

The end of TD was fun but highlighted the weakness of it to me - I didn't care about anyone while it was going on so it ended up being filmed very well, but didn't really land for me because the storyline is mostly incoherent.

I've also seen the first two episodes of Mr Robot.  Held off for a bit because its on USA but I like it a lot so far.

i had the same hold ups on it but so far so good. i really like the premise. has a dreary, dark theme to it so far.
