Also caught up on Walking Dead last night. Holy shtein this season is SOOOO much better than past seasons. Things are actually happening! Action and conflict! Only took five farging seasons.

Wasn't a fan of the last episode in the hospital but overall this season is a lot better.

smeags

yeah seemed like a filler episode and from the looks of the preview for this week we wont see anything about the hospital until next week.
If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.

phillies will be under 500 this year...book it

MDS

its called a bottle episode....limited cast, limited set, limited costs....but its definitely not filler

they arent just dropping this story
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SunMo

thank jeebuz that todd is here to drop inside television terms that nobody cares about.

"hey hun, i learned to today what a 'bottle' epsidoe of a tv show is.  wanna know?"

"no."

"ok sweetie, I'll go back to hating my life"

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Rome

They should have ended Homeland in the bunker with Brody killing himself and everyone else.

The second after he punked out that show became unwatchable.

I've seen every episode since, of course, because I'm a hopeless loser, but still...

The Hospital ep was definitely the weakest because no matter how adorable and doe-eyed Beth is, and no matter how hard they're trying to show what a survivor she is, she still sucks and is useless. I wouldn't mind biting her cheerio, though.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

smeags

hopefully there arent anymore filler episodes on WD this season.

I didn't mind the Beth episode at all, especially because towards the end she didn't stay so helpless and frail and did what she had to do with that cop and getting him killed. I also seem to like any episode where they get some extensive time outside of "the group" and see how other groups are surviving. I hope the spin-off they're doing becomes like American Horror Story where they follow a different group through a different time period of the outbreak/aftermath every season.

Plus now Carol's there, shtein's gonna get farged up soon enough.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

smeags

well of course now its going to get good with carol there. you know the group is going to head there themselves. i just thought the episode was weak compared to the others this season.

i keep hearing the spin off is another group at the very beginning of the outbreak.

Yeah that's what I read, I honestly think it would be better if they did the different group every season thing though. Could really give them some flexibility.

Also, there's a terrible and campy zombie show on SyFy now called Z Nation. It's about as bad as you would think it is, but I still turn it on every once in a while for chuckles.

Hated the first few episodes of Homeland but the last few have been on point

Man, I just watched the 1st episode of season 3. Loved it. Can't wait to watch the rest of the season. This show is turning out to be one of the best. Better than TWD and I like TWD a lot.

Carrie is friggen' nuts and getting nuttier.

Seeing Carol being wheeled in on that cart made me think of Rick saying, "They don't know what kind of people they're messing with", or whatever he said exactly.
